We are all back from our visit to California and I am happy to report that Mother's 80th Birthday Party at Courtside was a great success!

The table was just lovely; with the birthday balloons it was pretty and festive. Thank you so much for arranging us all at one table, which was laid out beautifully. And what a nice setting, looking out the windows onto the tennis courts over the setting sun (which stirred lots of fond memories!).

Please thank the chef for us, as the food was just marvelous. We so appreciated having the antipasti platters to nibble while toasting the Birthday Girl and opening presents. The salad was light and well-flavored, the filets were absolutely exquisite (Mother wanted to know where the chef buys the beef!), the asparagus was perfectly prepared (not too done, not too little, just perfectly tender with the exact amount of sauce), and the potatoes were just right--crisp on the outside, tasty on the inside. What a wonderful job in the kitchen.

And then there's the cake...! Need I say more?

Please also thank the wonderful folks who waited on us; both were very attentive and professional, and each part of the dinner went along smoothly and was enjoyed by all.

Suffice to say, it was a lovely evening and we all thoroughly enjoyed the fabulous meal. Many thanks for all your work in arranging this event for us, and we'll look forward to the possibility of another in the near future.

We want to thank you for putting together our Mother's 80th birthday party. Everything met or exceeded our expectations. The various food dishes were great- the filets were fantastic! The table settings with the balloon centerpiece were very attractive. The chocolate cake was devine. The entire evening was enjoyed by all. Our father is hard of hearing and the lack of other diners' conversations made it easy for him to fully participate. The two servers were ready, cheerful and eager to assist with anything we needed.
